Meet Yasen U., COO
What is CORETECH for you?
It is an opportunity to challenge my capabilities as I build solutions from scratch
What we don’t know about you but you’d like to share?
Sometimes I really enjoy doing repetitive work that others find boring. It helps me relax my mind or focus on something.
What is your favorite property in Monopoly, and why?
I like the most expensive ones because to me, winning big requires one to think big!
Tell us about when you failed
Failure is not in my vocabulary! There is no such thing as success or failure. It is all part of my experience. I always aim to get the most out of every challenge or situation I find myself in. The most important thing is to analyze your performance afterwards, mark the weakest points and improve.
Talk to us about when you were seven or eight. Who did you want to be?
What do you mean? I still am eight! I was always fascinated by science, technology and robotics. Computer science, in particular, was my favourite so I knew this is what I want to do.
What is the biggest innovation or upgrade you’d like to see coming from the next person you hire?
Something simple that will enable us achieve more, but which they do not know or can’t do prior to joining us.
A group is taking a tour of your company. What would be the things you would want them to take away from their visit?
The fact that you cannot really distinguish the managers from the specialists only by walking around and watching us work.
What stands behind a company such as CORETECH?
Its employees, each and everyone doing their magic every single day.
How did you pick the corporate company values?
Based on what I personally believed in and it turned out we are all on the same page.
How do you build your relationship with the employees?
By sharing personal value systems with others.
Who is Yasen Uzunov?
I can’t describe myself at the moment, but down the line based on how I stack up against the challenges ahead, my true self will show off.
